Sinjini Well, to explain it in short, what he is saying is that man and nature are interlinked, and not distinct identities. The struggle for superiority within mankind is what perturbs him - authority over each other and an attempt to rule nature as well. So he says that it is man himself to blame for all the problems that the world faces today.
That's a statement that hold true even to this date, and perhaps more so, with the most common examples being of pollution, global warming, world wars, extinction of various flora and fauna species, poverty etc. That was the gist of it, more or less.
